Scissors!!!
I found some super cute Crayola safety scissors at Michael's. There's no metal and they came in a three pack and they WERE IN THE RIGHT COLORS!!! Jackpot!!! 
While the boys were bickering/wrestling/tattling/driving me up a wall, I decided they needed to do a quiet activity. Viola! Peace and quiet for 30 minutes!

New Dentist
Ben has had some dental issues that have caused us to look around for a new dentist. They recent called us with a last minute opening for all three little boys. This meant I had to go alone. With all 4 of them. Yikes!

Eli's Cub Scout Cake
Eli's Cub Scout pack has the boys make cakes for the Blue and Gold banquet every year. This year's theme is the Winter Olympics. He loved watching the curling competitions so he decided to make a curling stone. Here it is!
It's two layers of funfetti cake frosted with vanilla frosting. The frosting was tinted with good coloring to get grayish. The handle is made out of Rice Krispie treTs dipped in red chocolate. The red circle was made by putting melted red chocolate in a plate until it hardened. They're connected with more red chocolate.
ETA: he win 1st place for "strangest shaped cake". Woohoo!
