Practice 1st day of school

The boys are signed up for pre-school in the fall.  In order to get them acclimated with their teachers and their surroundings, we've signed them up to attend a few days over the summer.  It's like a trial run for them (and for ME!).

All set up the night before. 

They had to wear their swim suits to play in the pool/sprinkler.

Their backpacks were too heavy and they weren't happy.

They had 2 changes of clothes, a towel and a t-shirt to tie dye, plus their lunch box and a water bottle!

 

 

At school for drop off...

We detached the lunchboxes to make it a bit easier for them to carry.

Home after school...

so sleepy...

 

They had a fun day.  The are wearing their "emergency" clothes, but they had a blast...and took a nice long nap!

 

It also gave Eli and I a chance to have a "date".  We went to see Despicable Me 2.

He loved it!
