Getting them to cooperate and look at the camera is super tough. One trick I use to get them to focus for a minute is say "hands on your heads." They usually stop what they're doing (which is good when they're pulling all of the pasta off the shelf at the supermarket) and look up. This is what I did for this picture. They were not happy that I was delaying their breakfast for a silly picture! They were being a little silly and wouldn't look up (all at the same time). SO, I said,
"Hands on your head!"
Miraculously, they put their hands on their heads, looked up, AND smiled!
Woot!!!
